JSIR accredits certification of IR specialist with required qualification and examinations.

Qualification to apply the written examination:

1. Japanese medical license owner
2. Over consecutive five years JSIR full member
3. Owner of the specialist license(s) accredited by JSIR-appointed IR societies: Japan Radiological Society, The Japanese Society for Neurovascular Therapy, or Japanese College of Angiology.
   For a license owner accredited by any other IR societies, please contact to Secretariat.
4. Trained over 2 years at JSIR-certified training institute(s)

Examinations:

1. Document review
2. Written examination
3. Interview

Certification Maintenance:

JSIR certification of IR specialist is required to renew every 5 years with educational, scientific and clinical activities settled by JSIR accreditation committee.
